Children learn best through first-hand experiences—play motivates, stimulates and supports children in their development of skills, concepts, language acquisition, communication skills, and concentration. During play, children use all of their senses, must convey their thoughts and emotions, explore their environment, and connect what they already know with new knowledge, skills and attitudes.
Our Programs
0’s Bunnies
The bunny room is designed for infants 6weeks to 12 months. In this classroom you will find a large room divided into two open areas; one area for playing, the other for quiet and rest.
1’s Bears
The bear classroom is designed to foster creativity and new experiences for our children ages 12-24 months. This classroom is arranged structurally similar to our infant classroom.
2’s Porcupines
Our Porcupine classroom nurtures children ages 24 months to 3 years old. The room is set up more like a traditional classroom with an indoor climbing unit to help harness all of the energy children have at this age. Potty-Training kicks off in this classroom!
3’s Owls
Our Owl classroom is designed to help children prepare for preschool. They will play in a more center based atmosphere. With activities inspired by the children’s interests.
4’s Squirrels
The Squirrel classroom is designed foster expression, when kids really start to form their own ideas about what they want to play and how they want to create. In the Squirrel classroom, your child will explore science experiments, create artwork, and play pretend—all the skills needed for their big next step: kindergarten!
School Age - Redwoods
The Redwood classroom is set up for our Before/After school children and our school age summer program. During the summer we provide activities at and away from the center. Including:- Local swimming pool- Area parks- County Fair (including a float in the parade)- surprise visitors- fun weekly themes- Gardening/harvesting- Big field trip at the end of summer
At Webster City Daycare Center, our mission consists of providing a warm and nurturing environment where children feel safe. Our unique Day Care Center offers various activities that are specifically designed to encourage each child’s growth through cooperative play and creative activities, kids reach their social, emotional and physical milestones naturally and with ease.
